The "Verb Table" project, as I've come to call it, is an effort to expand on the verb entries contained in Durbin Feeling's Cherokee-English Dictionary (CED). Each table presents a verb with Stem Forms isolated and with expanded index forms, usage notes, additional example sentences, and verb root parsing. The goal is to create a table for every verb included in the CED. I work closely with JW Webster on each Table, and hope to include the input of as many first-language speakers as possible as the project goes on. The process is ongoing.
For more details on how the tables are created and organized, including explanations for a few new ways of categorizing verbs I use for this project, you should look at the "How To Use" document. For help finding a specific verb table, consult the Table of Contents document.
